I will say this, I do usually leave a little disappointed because I always** want a famous Motor City cheeseburger, I always want a Motor City chicken sammy, and I always want Chevapi. And I never get to have all 3 because... im just 1 person haha.

Good Food !! Nice space friendly staff. Pool table patio darts Jukebox TVs over the bar for the games. Good drinks.

Is this location ever going to open again? It's been closed for years. I miss the Chevapi and burgers.

This place was so clean... I felt very comfortable knowing the place was clean. I used the restroom during this visit and one latch wasn't working and out of toilet paper, but thankfully the second stall had some! The food was great and the right price. Overall very satisfied and would return!

The food here is great during the day for lunch. Haven't been here in years to hang out but they are friendly with a lot of regulars. Bar is clean and freshly remodeled.

Tl;dr: We had a bacon cheeseburger, Philly steak sandwich and waffle fries. Burger was very good, quite beefy. Philly was solid and the fries were just a cut above the average bar. We'll be back soon with our teenager in tow. Full report: Wife wanted a burger on an early Saturday afternoon. Metro Times reviewed this place a month ago and the write-up was effusive in its praise so I insisted despite wife's lack of enthusiasm for the likely Paczki Run crowd this day. Wife was right; crowd was pretty thick for so early on an otherwise dull sports day. Lots of runners in the place. Wife ordered her burger medium well. I think that's nonsense and even she admitted she overdid it. Typically she orders a straight medium. Like all normal people I prefer medium rare. The burger came as she ordered it - a perfect medium well. Despite that the taste was quite good, even for me. If MCSB can make a delicious medium well imagine what a proper medium rare is like. I'm not a big Philly guy. But I wanted to try something other than the burger to get a good idea of what the place was like. MT said a lot of other good things came off that grill. The Philly was solid. Good amount of steak and in bites with sufficient cheese the mouthfeel was outstanding. I could use more grilled onions, but I would have grilled onions on everything I eat if I could. The waffle fries were excellent. The oil in the fryer was obviously clean and it helps make a great fry. And that brings me to the grill. The MT review had praise for it and justly so. It's magnificent. With the big crowd it was getting a workout. The venting system had no problems handling the load. The surface itself looks great and it's obviously well-cared for. As long as that grill is in great shape and the operator is skilled this place is going to produce solid food. MCSB is going into our regular rotation.

The perfect for tomorrow. Great service, friendly staff and amazing food. The best spot be for your favorite sporting event or even just to have a beer or cocktail. There's a patio for smokers and a Foosball table, Pool tables and Darts for fun. I love this place. I wish I was there now.

Things don't seem to change at Motor City Sports bar, Miller lite is still $1.50 Just like it was in 2001. The food is better that you think they have excellent burgers and a few other choices that are worth checking out. Oh and the outside patio was pretty cool.
